My approach

Before development begins, I try to understand not only the technical specification but the process itself: who uses the system, where the data comes from, where errors occur and what outcome the business needs.

• define the problem and expected outcome first
• separate essential features from work that can wait
• choose the stack for the task, not the task for a familiar stack
• account for API failures, ambiguous states and security
• plan for the project to evolve

This avoids spending the budget on unnecessary development and makes it possible to launch the first working version sooner when needed.

Experience and specialisation

Over more than 15 years in development, I have worked on projects of many sizes: from focused improvements and integrations to CRM platforms, marketplace services, Telegram applications, AI/RAG systems, fintech and complex backend platforms.

Experience helps me identify weak points sooner: needless architectural complexity, business-logic errors, data-storage problems, unreliable API integrations and missing queues, logging, roles or error controls.

I am not tied to a single stack. I use Python, PHP/Laravel and Node.js where each technology best fits the task and the project's existing infrastructure.

What matters to me

I follow several principles in my work:

• logic first, code second
• do not complicate the architecture without a reason
• avoid “magic” solutions that become impossible to maintain
• account for security, permissions and data storage
• consider future scale without premature overengineering
• make interfaces and admin panels that people can actually use
• say honestly when a proposed solution is technically weak or risky

For me, a good result is not merely a closed task. It is a system that behaves predictably, makes sense to the project owner and can continue to evolve.

If a focused improvement or MVP is enough, we can start there. If the project requires a complete architecture, several integrations, AI/RAG, queues or separate services, we will design the system with future development in mind.

My priority is to solve the problem without unnecessary development and deliver a result that can be used, maintained and extended properly.
