P2P exchange as a controlled financial workflow

I develop P2P modules where users buy and sell assets while the system fixes the deal terms, reserves funds, receives confirmations and controls disputed states.

A deal follows an explicit state machine. Participant actions and every balance movement are recorded, so the operation can be reconstructed after a failure, retry or dispute.

What a P2P module includes

Listings and deals

Buy and sell offers with limits, rates, payment methods, availability and immutable terms copied into each deal.

Funds and fees

Available and reserved balances, platform commission, ledger entries and reconciliation rules.

Confirmations and disputes

Payment marking, seller release, timeouts, evidence, administrator review and arbitration outcomes.

Operations

Participant notifications, background checks, searchable administration and controlled manual actions.

Deal lifecycle

  1. Create or accept an offer

Validate limits, payment conditions and current availability, then freeze the deal terms.

Offer · limits · fixed terms
  2. Reserve the seller’s asset

Move the amount from available to reserved balance in one database transaction.

    Escrow · transaction · lock
  3. Payment and confirmation

The buyer marks payment and the seller confirms receipt through actions allowed for the current state.

State machine · deadlines · evidence
  4. Release or dispute

Release reserved funds to the buyer, cancel safely, or move the deal into administrator arbitration.

    Release · cancellation · dispute
  5. Complete the ledger

Record principal, commission and resulting balances as separate auditable operations.

    Ledger · fee · audit

Protection from repeated and concurrent actions

Idempotency

A repeated API call returns the existing result and cannot debit or credit funds twice.

Status validation

Each participant can perform only the actions permitted by the current deal state.

Concurrency control

Row and distributed locks prevent two workers from releasing or cancelling the same deal simultaneously.

Administrator audit

Manual decisions store the actor, reason, evidence and affected financial operations.

Technology and delivery

P2P engine Listings · Deals · Escrow · commissions · disputes · notifications
Backend Laravel · SQL ledger · Redis · queues · locks · admin panel · audit

Expected result

A P2P exchange module in which funds, deal states and administrator actions are explicit, protected against duplicates and available for operational review.

P2P Exchange · Escrow · Ledger · Disputes · Arbitration · Idempotency · Audit

Discuss your project

If you have a project involving Python, Laravel, Node.js, CRM, Telegram, AI/RAG, API integrations, automation or TON/GRAM logic, send me a short description of what you need.

You can simply explain what exists now, what is not working, what outcome you expect and which services are already involved.
